Our approach is community-based by promoting the use of local resources and volunteers for the collection of information and the preparation of the plan. The benefit of this approach is that local people will become “experts” on local issues and this knowledge will remain on your lake.

French Planning Services Inc. will provide services to co-ordinate the process and develop the final product. We will provide you with a work plan, information sources, surveys, workshops and expert advice on how you can best achieve the desired end. Where local resource people are not available, we will complete the task for you.

Randy French is a planner and facilitator whose career has involved projects with all three levels of government in Ontario. He is an excellent strategic planner and facilitator with proven project management and interpersonal skills. This balance of skills and thorough knowledge of Crown and private land planning and information management systems enables him to deal effectively with a wide range of issues and to facilitate public processes that promote open discussion with a wide range of participants. As a Conservation Biologist, Jasmine’s role is to provide scientific rigour and verification to all environmental consulting contracts involving ecologically-based projects, natural heritage interpretation and provincially rare or species at risk species. Jasmine’s prime responsibility has been to coordinate data collection and verification involving a wide range of lakes across southern Ontario as well as organize on-site evaluations and analyses for lake plans, environmental impact assessments, biological inventories and site rehabilitation services. Gord Rodgers brings to projects more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of environmental planning. Through his career, Gord has written and led plans for provincial parks and developed provincial policy and legislation for environmental assessment, natural heritage protection, natural resources management and municipal planning. He has managed highly complex and confrontational projects and has extensive experience dealing with strategic planning, facilitation, public consultation and formal hearings. [ READ MORE ]
