We are French Planning Services Inc. Our approach is community-based by promoting the use of local resources and volunteers for the collection of information and the preparation of the plan. The benefit of this approach is that local people will become “experts” on local issues and this knowledge will remain on your lake.

French Planning Services Inc. will provide services to co-ordinate the process and develop the final product. We will provide you with a work plan, information sources, surveys, workshops and expert advice on how you can best achieve the desired end. Where local resource people are not available, we will complete the task for you.

Our approach is to:

• Optimize the use of the lake association’s and local government’s resources to minimize costs.
• Facilitate the collection of relevant information through use of a work plan and surveys.
• Ensure open communication with all interested parties (residents, commercial operators, municipalities, MNR, MOE) through newsletters, workshops and meetings.
• Our goal is to ensure that the process is positive and satisfies the objectives of your lake association and other involved parties.
