Resource Kit
Useful links and templates to information as well as examples of approaches used by many lake and river communities in carrying out the Lake Plan process.
The lake planning process and this handbook has been prepared based on the ‘pay it forward principle’… sharing information and approaches. Over the pat ten years FPSI has worked with over forty lake associations and each association has contributed to the concept, the content and approaches for preparing lake and river plans. This Resource Kit contains a sample of the material and resources that FPSI has available to share, and these resources are also available on the CD when you purchase the Handbook at FOCA.
Our hope is that as new lakes join our lake planning network and create new information, templates and approaches, that you will share these experiences with us and others so that they can become the new starting point for others. This is the spirit of the lake planning process and of all lake residents, business operators and recreationalists.
